about the band

This all acoustic band formed in early 2007 as a trio… just a few friends wanting to play music.  A year later they added a fourth member and began to gain a small follwing that started with friends and family after a regular monthly date to play at their church.

Paper Windows’ music is driven by the rhythm guitar of Rob Barreda who also writes most of the lyrics and sings for the band.  Jennifer Bosch provides the sweet texture of violin and viola melodies over the punchy moving bass lines delivered by George cook.  And John Hammer provides the back beat that keeps them all in time.

Paper Windows can definitely be described as greater than the sum of its parts, playing music that might be best described as indie pop, acoustic rock or alternative folk.
